Environmental step of development

As part of the rebuilding of its range of condensate removal pumps, Mini Flowatch, SICCOM undertook a step of ecodesign aiming to restrict from 5 to 20% of the environmental aspects of its product.

The rebuilding of the product allowed a decrease of the global energy consumption of this one owing to the increase of the energetic efficiency (despite a slight increase of the power). Furthermore, we established an extension of the life cycle of the product from 4 to 5 years by increasing its reliability. This increase of the life cycle is characterized by a sharp decrease of the environmental impacts of the manufacturing process.

The improvements will also contribute to optimise the air conditioning system, by decreasing the energetic consumption of the system.

Certificates

In 1994, SICCOM obtained the VALEO 1000 quality certificate. In 1995, SICCOM got the "TROPHEE ILE DE FRANCE DE LA QUALITE" from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of France.

SICCOM got the ISO 9000 certification in 1997 and is now ISO 9001 version 2008 certified. All the production plants of SICCOM based outside France are certified ISO 9001 version 2000. The products are also compliant to the E.C standards and part of the range is also approved to UL-CSA standards.

SICCOM make use of advanced production methods such as computer-aided design (CAD), procedures for conception (FMEA) and follow-up of the production chain (CAM). The development and production plants of SICCOM have state-of-the-art assembly lines and equipments to ensure consistency of performance and product characteristics.
